Kaffeine is the result of more than a decade of hands-on experience in specialty coffee, café development and hospitality.

Founder David Nagy began his coffee journey in Budapest in 2012, creating and developing successful café concepts, working with professional espresso technology and building coffee programs for some of Hungary’s most respected hospitality destinations.

In 2025, that experience arrived on the California coast with the opening of Kaffeine Espresso Bar in Riviera Village, Redondo Beach.

Our mission is to create a welcoming neighborhood café where exceptional quality, creativity and genuine hospitality come together. We combine the precision and café culture of Europe with the relaxed character of Southern California.

Our coffee is freshly roasted on-site, allowing us to continually introduce exciting and distinctive coffees from different origins. Our selection evolves throughout the year, giving our guests something new to discover while maintaining the consistency and quality they expect from Kaffeine.

Alongside carefully prepared espresso classics, we create original signature drinks that reflect the season. Each drink is developed with a focus on flavor, balance and presentation, bringing new ingredients and fresh ideas to the menu throughout the year.

Kaffeine is more than a coffee shop. It is a continuation of a story that began in Budapest—and a commitment to building an exceptional coffee destination here in California.
